Alliances: The essence of community partnerships
At Flagler Coastal, “Partners with your community” is more than our slogan, it is the keystone of our business plan and the foundation for every association management agreement that we enter into.
When we consider our relationship with an association and their relationship with the neighborhood and our joint relationships to the community as “partnerships”, we will all succeed together.
The concept of partnering extends to our vendor relationships as well. Through strategic alliances with companies who are leaders in their industries, we are able to negotiate premium services for the associations we manage; often at reduced prices.
We only deal with companies who will provide verifiable business background information including references, licenses and proof of insurance, if required. Any special permits or bonds for contractors who perform services on our properties must be current and a copy on file with our office before work commences.
When associations that we manage are setting up their bank relationships, shopping for insurance, looking for a pool service, janitorial service, electrician, plumber or landscaper, we are able to screen and approve the potential suppliers based on criteria provided by their Board.
Having a pre-approved list of qualified vendors available to provide to our associations is essential to the smooth operation of their communities. We maintain a prompt payment history with each approved vendor for the work that is done for our associations, so, when special problems arise and we need extra attention, they respond to our calls.
Our employees are screened and their backgrounds checked by a licensed private investigative agency before they ever show up for work. We maintain a “drug free” workplace and, in addition to pre-employment testing, our employees know that they are subject to random drug screening anytime that they are on the job.
Flagler Coastal Community Management is a good “corporate citizen”. We are dedicated to the alliances with the communities that we serve and we give back through volunteerism and sponsorships for worthwhile community projects and charities.
